Blue Sky Alpacas Yarn
I have always found Blue Sky Alpaca's yarn company to be one of the most interesting to study. Their fibers are unarguably some of the most unique, yet they would be considered traditional fibers.
I have never found an Alpaca & Silk blend that compares to their Blue Sky Alpaca & Silk. Their Alpaca Sport has a twist that gives it the structure many other fibers similar in content lacks.
They have been selling their Hand-Dyed Organic Cotton before anyone else understood the importance of organic. And funny enough... they charged a fair price for it then and still do. Odd how so many other companies in the past few years put "organic" on their yarn label and charged us a lot more for it. For that reason alone, I very much respect this company. Price aside, I have not found a hand-dyed Organic Cotton that comes close to the hand and fullness this yarn produces.
Blue Sky Alpaca's hand-dye process produces a very even, but extremely rich color collection. Many of their colors are very gem like in tone and make the most beautiful garments.
Blue Sky Alpaca's also offers a great collection of fashion forward patterns. There is something for every member of your family.
